Learning French at Applecross Primary

Learning French supports students from Years 3–6 to develop the confidence and skills to communicate effectively in French. Students develop a range of essential communication skills, including listening, speaking, reading and writing, through engaging and purposeful learning experiences.  The program places a strong emphasis on developing students’ understanding of French culture, social conventions and everyday experiences. Exploring these cultural perspectives provides an important foundation for communication and helps students appreciate the richness and diversity of language and culture. Through this approach, learning French becomes an engaging, challenging and meaningful experience that broadens students’ understanding of the world.

APPLECROSS PRIMARY SCHOOL

Enrol at Applecross Primary School

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which we gather. Applecross Primary School has stood on these lands since 1905. Our Scar trees form a part of our rich history, each telling a story of life before our school began. These are the lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people, always was, always will be. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
